The Spannagelhaus in Hintertux was refurbished in 2013 and guests continue to enjoy its rustic Alpine ambience. The spacious sun terrace invites you to enjoy winter from its most pleasurable side, while the rustic “Stuben” and the bar area with an open fireplace are ideal for taking a break from your winter sports exertions on the glacier. The Spannagelhaus serves Tyrolean classics as well as international specialties, perfectly complemented by selected wines.

The Tuxer Fernerhaus at an altitude of 2,660 metres is fully accessible and home to the restaurant “Wirtshaus am Tuxer Ferner” since 2013 as well as to a panorama bar and spacious self-service restaurant. The sun terrace is protected against wind and perfect for sunbathing in one of the deckchairs.
For culinary classics, head to the self-service restaurant that is open all year round. The “Wirtshaus” serves a large selection of local and international specialties from July until early May, freshly prepared using regional products and there for you to enjoy in the rustic “Stuben” or the light-flooded conservatory. A glass of champagne or a mug of mulled wine, enjoyed in the lounge or at the open fireplace, make the perfect end to your day on the slopes. The Tuxer Fernerhaus is also home to the highest-located seminar facilities in the Zillertal that may be used for conferences and events of all kinds.
